Wave Break Island is a popular anchorage for local boaties. Our prevailing winds come from the south east & the north side of Wave Break Island offers good protection when we have a stiff south easterly blowing. Tying the stern of the vessel into the beach allows us to step off the boats & walk ashore, & being that close to the trees gives maximum protection from the wind. Our beautiful sunny days here on Queensland’s magnificent Wave Break Island Gold Coast aboard ‘Luxury One’ will be remembered for years to come. This is our favourite place to put the anchor down. We offer deep discounts to the hourly rate to sit on the anchor at Wave Break Island or other great places in the Broadwater. Boating on the Gold Coast is as good as it gets. We have a huge area of smooth water protected from ocean swell by North & South Stradbroke Islands & we take full advantage of this wonderful location with the options we offer to our clients. We do not have a set itinerary, & make suggestions based on what our clients want to see, & the number of hours the boat is booked.
The first hour is $450. Time spent at anchor $225 per hour. Additional hours cruising at 6 knots $400 per hour. Fuel surcharge to cruise at around 20 knots add $150 per hour.
SUGGESTION
Pick up from anywhere on the Broadwater, Main Beach, Southport, Labrador, Runaway Bay or Paradise Point. Travel to Wave Break Island & sit at anchor for two hours. Three hours in total $900.
Pick up from anywhere on the Broadwater, two hours cruising at 6 knots, & two hours sitting at anchor $1,2oo 4 hours total (Summer Special)
