We encourage BYO food & drinks to keep control of costs, but can arrange catering to any level. The boat has a good galley with microwave oven, electric cook top, & good sized fridge. The cockpit has two dining tables to seat nine people for meals. We have a SS Marine BBQ on the Transom Rail & a large built-in ice box in the cockpit. You have a number of options to consider. If you only have an hour or two, we suggest a cruise up the Nerang River & Paradise Waters Canals, or to the Sovereign Islands & or Runaway Bay Islands & canals, depending on your departure location. If you have more time available, a cruise to Sanctuary Cove, Couran Point, Tipplers Passage or Jumpinpin Bar will be very rewarding, as this is a wilderness area where we travel between mangrove islands. You might prefer to put the anchor down, take a walk on South Stradbroke or Wave Break Islands, or swim & hang out on the boat. Fire up the BBQ or lay out some snacks. Few hire boats Gold Coast can travel up steam of the Isle of Capri bridge and as far north as Jumpinpin Bar, & this sets us apart from most of our competition. Suggestions:
If we pick up at Proud Park (South side of the Southport Bridge) I hour will take you past the amazing main river mansions at Paradise Waters then onto Central Surfers Paradise around Chevon Island & return to Proud Park. Approximately one hour, & cost $450.
Extended trip from the above. Approximately two hours & cost $800
If we pick up at Aqua on the Broadwater at Labrador, travel north to cruise the palatial mansions at Sovereign Islands then back to Wavebreak Island to put the anchor down. Spend a couple of hours on the anchor, maybe fire up the BBQ or lay out some snacks & generally sit back & enjoy this wonderful place. We can take the tender ashore for a walk on the beach, you can swim or suntan on the front deck cushions. Approximately 4 hours & cost $1,200 Providing we do not have another booking following you can extend.

If you can manage a minimum of 3 hours, but preferably 4 or more hours & prepared to pay the fuel surcharge for fast cruising we highly recommend a visit to the Jumpinpin Bar area. We travel in to a wilderness area dominated by narrow channels a few beautiful sandy beaches & some very sheltered moorings. When the south easterly winds are making a trip to the beach in Surfers Paradise a little unpleasant you can be assured the conditions in Tipplers Passage will be brilliant. After working these waters since the early 1980′s, this area still takes my breath away. I love watching the expressions on the faces of my passengers as we cruise this area. We can have lunch on board the boat or we have the option of stopping for at Calypso Bay Hotel at the new marina development near Jacobs Well for magnificent restaurant quality food. ( lunch at the Hotel at clients cost) Lunch at Calypso Bay tends to push our trip time to more than 5 hours, but will be a day remembered for life. I am not aware of other commercial operators bringing tours into this area. I expect that to be due to the travel time & high fuel costs. A trip to this area will be a highlight of your visit to the Gold Coast & not many non locals have experienced this natural & unique location & it was the major reason why I relocated my family here in the early 1980′s.
